Dairy Consulting

At Infinity Concepts we eat and sleep dairy and believe that dairy farming in Africa has enormous potential as fresh milk of a high quality is very limited.
We At Infinity Concepts have realised the enormous price difference of fresh milk between the farm and the market and we also understand the issues that face the milk processor with collection logistics, the standard of milk quality with reference to bacteria, cooling speed, somatic cell counts, butterfat and protein levels and hence know that the opportunity for larger scale commercial farms is limitless on the continent as the continent is in desperate need of dairy units that can consistently produce volume and quality milk 365 days a year.
We specialise in planning these operations, managing the project from the food the cows require to the end product of high quality milk from a functional herd.
Our standard is to have 80% of adult females in production with Jersey herds on TMR averaging over 6000kg of milk per cow per 305 milking days a year, and Holstein cows on TMR at a minimum of 7500kg of milk per cow per 305 milking days a year with Intercalving periods being no more than 400 days.
In order to achieve these minimum requirements we know that GENETICS+NUTRITION+ COW COMFORT = PROFIT, and therefore we plan and manage from the construction to the planting and harvesting of fodder.
In Africa good quality roughage and even meals are not always easily available and we believe that a dairy farmer needs to concentrate on fodder production to achieve the highest profit margin possible and this is where Infinity Concepts specialises.
In our dairy team we have experienced dairy farmers, nutritionists, silage specialists, cattle judges, milk machine experts and engineers that specialise in dairy design and construction, nutrition, fodder crops, feed milling, livestock selection and transport, livestock training, computer recording of cows, artificial insemination, breeding and forward planning.
We are the full dairy package, from designing the farm to designing your labels that will go on the milk bottles or dairy products.
